About Chonnie
Chonnie Cockroft is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Chonnie is a Wisconsin native who moved to Indiana in 2015. Chonnie graduated from the University of Southern Indiana. She received her bachelor's of science degree in nursing from Walden University in 2012, where she graduated summa cum laude. She received master's of science degree in nursing with honors from Walden University in 2017. She graduated with her past-master's certificate from the University of Southern Indiana.
Chonnie is an experienced nurse with 11 years of experience working as a nurse in emergency medicine and five years of working as a charge nurse in dialysis. She found a love for emergency and urgent care practice and focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered health care.
As a family nurse practitioner, Chonnie is licensed to provide care for individuals and families across the entire lifespan. She can diagnose and treat medical conditions, prescribe medications, manage chronic illness, and promote health and wellness. She will take the time to get to know you and your family's health history and create a personalized plan of care that's right for you.
Chonnie currently resides in Vincennes. Outside of the office, Chonnie takes pleasure in spending time with her family and friends, enjoys CrossFit training, hiking, and loves spending time on her hobby farm where she takes enjoyment in raising many types of animals.
