Dr. David Nibel, MD, is a seasoned family medicine physician committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to his patients at Daviess Community Hospital. With decades of experience in diverse healthcare settings, Dr. Nibel brings expertise in urgent care, emergency services, and general practice. He began his medical career after earning his Doctor of Medicine with honors from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and completing his internship in general surgery at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado.

Dr. Nibel’s career includes roles as a staff physician, associate director, and vice chairman in emergency and urgent care departments. He has also served as a medical preceptor for nurse practitioner programs, supporting the next generation of healthcare providers. Known for his dedication to advancing patient care, Dr. Nibel has contributed to research and presented at medical conferences on topics ranging from liver disease to emergency care for seniors.
