About Deanna

Deanna Plummer, FNP-C, RN, MSN, brings extensive clinical experience and compassionate care to Daviess Community Hospital. As a board-certified family nurse practitioner, Deanna is dedicated to providing thorough, personalized healthcare to patients of all ages.

Deanna earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from the University of Southern Indiana, where she graduated in 2013. Prior to her advanced degree, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Associate Degree in Nursing at Vincennes University, graduating magna cum laude.

Throughout her healthcare career, Deanna has served in diverse clinical roles, including urgent care, family medicine, and specialty care in urology. She also has substantial experience as a nurse case manager, supporting patients seeking expert medical guidance. Her tenure as a Regional Quality Lead demonstrates her commitment to clinical excellence, education, and leadership, having overseen quality standards and training for multiple healthcare facilities.

Passionate about nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals, Deanna has also been an educator at Vincennes University, instructing nursing students in both clinical and classroom settings.

Deanna is actively involved in community service, participating in local and international mission work focused on healthcare and humanitarian aid. Her volunteer activities include BackPack Blessings, providing essential school supplies to children, and participating in medical missions in Africa and home-building projects in Guatemala.
