About Desireé

Desireé L. Lewis, BSN, RN serves as a Perinatal Nurse Navigator at Daviess Community Hospital, bringing extensive experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, antepartum, and OB/GYN care. She coordinates evidence-based services for expectant and new mothers, conducting prenatal screenings and managing comprehensive case management to ensure optimal outcomes.

Ms. Lewis holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Indiana and an Indiana RN Compact License. She is certified in Adult Mental Health First Aid, Perinatal Bereavement, Safe Sleep, and Medication Assisted Treatment, among other credentials. With a focus on reducing barriers to care, promoting infant safety, and supporting families through every stage of pregnancy, Ms. Lewis is dedicated to improving maternal health and fostering healthier communities.
