About Erica

Erica Ellermann, COTA, CSRS, is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with more than 25 years of experience in occupational therapy, including 17 years of dedicated service at Daviess Community Hospital. She primarily provides care on the hospital’s Acute Rehab Unit, where she helps patients regain their independence after injury or illness.

Ellermann earned an Associate of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern Indiana in 2000. She is nationally certified through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and has maintained her certification as a Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (CSRS) for over a decade.

Her work is centered on helping patients achieve greater independence and successfully return home to their families. She finds fulfillment in witnessing their progress throughout the rehabilitation process.

Outside of work, Ellermann enjoys spending time with her family and cherishing the everyday moments that matter most.
