About Jamal

Jamal Wittmer, PT, DPT, MDNC, is a board-certified physical therapist at Daviess Community Hospital’s CORE Center. A Montgomery, Indiana native and graduate of Barr-Reeve High School, Wittmer has been serving patients at the CORE Center since 2021.

Wittmer earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Western Kentucky University in 2020. Prior to that, he earned a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology and exercise science from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis and an Associate of Science degree from Vincennes University.

He has more than four years of experience in physical therapy and is certified in both Level 1 and Level 2 dry needling, having earned his most recent certification in September 2024. Wittmer incorporates dry needling techniques into his practice to help treat a variety of orthopedic conditions and musculoskeletal pain with personalized, evidence-based care.

Wittmer resides in Washington, Indiana, and is proud to serve the community he grew up in.
