Kiran Burla, MD, FACP, FAAP, CMD, is a highly experienced hospitalist who has been affiliated with Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, Indiana, since July 2012. Board-certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics, Dr. Burla provides comprehensive hospital-based care for patients of all ages, including newborns, adolescents, adults, and seniors.

Before joining the hospital’s medical staff, Dr. Burla built a career dedicated to excellence in acute care, post-acute and long-term care, and chronic disease management. He has served in various leadership and teaching roles, earning recognition for his contributions to patient care, medical education, and quality improvement.

Dr. Burla holds the distinction of Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), and Certified Medical Director (CMD). His areas of special interest include COPD, congestive heart failure, asthma, and ADHD in children.
