About Lynda

Lynda Plummer, NP-C, is a dedicated hospitalist nurse practitioner at Daviess Community Hospital, where she applies her extensive clinical experience and compassionate care to support patients during their hospital stays. Employed with DCH since 2006, Lynda has held various roles, including RN Physician Liaison, Nurse Extender, and Staff/Charge Nurse, before advancing to her current position as a nurse practitioner.

Lynda’s educational journey reflects her commitment to lifelong learning and excellence in nursing. She earned an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Postgraduate Certificate from Purdue Global University, a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Western Governors University, and both a Bachelor’s and Associate Degree in Nursing from the same institution and Vincennes University, respectively. Throughout her academic career, she earned numerous accolades, including graduating summa cum laude and being named to the Dean’s List.

Her clinical expertise is backed by multiple certifications, including the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGACNP-BC) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, as well as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications from the American Heart Association.

Lynda is a respected member of the healthcare community and has earned memberships in the Society for Collegiate Leadership and Achievement and the National Society of Leadership and Success. Beyond her professional life, she is also actively involved in the community as a board member of Rich 'N Felines, a non-profit feline rescue organization in Daviess County.

Lynda’s passion for patient care, coupled with her clinical expertise and community involvement, makes her a valuable asset to Daviess Community Hospital and the patients she serves.
