Raised on a dairy farm in Pennsylvania, Dr. Holsopple learned the value of hard work, perseverance, and the importance of caring for one’s neighbors. These foundational principles have guided his journey in family medicine, shaping him into a compassionate, skilled physician dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages.

Dr. Holsopple’s practice reflects the true breadth of family medicine, offering everything from acute and chronic disease management to preventive health screenings, gynecological exams, and minor surgical procedures. Certified in Botox and dermal fillers, he also provides specialized treatments to support patients’ aesthetic and wellness goals. His expertise extends to emergency care, laceration repair, and joint injections, ensuring that patients receive timely, high-quality treatment close to home.

His privileges at Daviess Community Hospital include inpatient care for both adult and pediatric patients and cardiac stress testing, reinforcing his dedication to comprehensive, patient-centered medicine. As the County Health Officer for the Daviess County Health Department, he plays a vital role in shaping public health programs, overseeing immunization services, and ensuring preparedness planning for the region. Dr. Holsopple is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and serves as a Civil Surgeon. He completed his residency at Union Hospital Family Practice Residency in Terre Haute, Indiana, after earning his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. His early education includes studies at Goshen College and Hesston College.

Throughout his career, Dr. Holsopple has served in numerous leadership roles, from directing long-term care facilities to mentoring nurse practitioner students. His passion for service extends globally, as demonstrated by his participation in a medical mission trip to Cusco, Peru. Locally, he supports first responders as the medical director for both the Montgomery and Washington Fire Departments.
