About Michelle

Michelle Arney has provided respiratory care since 1988, serving patients in a variety of settings before joining Daviess Community Hospital in 2011. She brings decades of clinical expertise in supporting individuals who require aerosol therapy, CPAP and BiPAP management, or pulmonary rehabilitation.

Certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation, Arney takes a patient-centered approach to therapy. She focuses on helping people achieve better lung function, whether they are adjusting to oxygen use at home or improving their endurance through supervised exercise programs.

Arney’s passion for respiratory care stems from her desire to see patients gain confidence and independence in their daily activities. She believes in offering both education and encouragement, empowering individuals to play an active role in improving their breathing and overall health.

Originally from Montgomery, Indiana, where she continues to live, Arney is the mother of two and grandmother of four. In her free time, she loves watching her grandchildren play softball, soccer and volleyball.
