About Trisha
Dr. Trisha Garrett, DO, is a compassionate family medicine physician dedicated to providing comprehensive care to her patients at Daviess Community Hospital. With a focus on promoting wellness and preventive medicine, Dr. Garrett brings a wealth of experience to her role, having served as a family medicine physician since 2013 and as the medical director at OCHMC since 2018.
Dr. Garrett completed her medical degree at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, followed by a family medicine residency at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Her diverse training includes certifications in DOT physicals, Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Obstetric Life Support (ALSO), which equip her to meet the needs of patients of all ages.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Garrett has been actively involved in community service, including providing wellness checks and physicals for local schools. Her interests outside of medicine include painting, photography, cooking, and travel, reflecting her creativity and love for learning.
