About Vasdev

Vasdev Lohano, M.D., FACE, is a board-certified endocrinologist with more than two decades of experience helping patients manage diabetes, thyroid disease, hormonal imbalances and other complex endocrine conditions.

Dr. Lohano earned his medical degree from Sindh Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed an internal medicine residency at Flushing Hospital and Medical Center in New York and a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at the University of Louisville.

Since 2001, Dr. Lohano has provided expert care to patients in southwestern Indiana through his work with Daviess Community Hospital. He has served in many leadership roles at the hospital, including medical director of the DCH Diabetes Management Center and the DCH Hospitalist Program, chief of staff, radiation safety officer, and member of the hospital’s board, medical executive committee and quality council.

He has also worked with the Joslin Diabetes Center affiliate at Floyd Memorial Hospital and served as medical director of diabetes centers in Jeffersonville and New Albany, Indiana.

Dr. Lohano has contributed to numerous research publications and clinical trials related to diabetes, insulin therapies and metabolic health. He has presented at national and regional conferences and was recognized with a first-place award for his research by the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE).

He is board certified in both endocrinology and internal medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Endocrinology. He has also held leadership roles in the Ohio River Region chapter of AACE, including president, vice president and secretary-treasurer.
