Date set for Celebration of Life for Dr. Suresh Lohano

Following the tragic passing of Dr. Suresh Lohano, the outpouring of support from our community and healthcare providers has been truly overwhelming. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to the dedicated professionals who have stepped up from all over the area to ensure that patient care continues seamlessly in the Daviess Community Hospital healthcare system. Your swift response and commitment have been invaluable during this challenging time. We especially want to thank Dr. Burla, Dr. Nixon, and Dr. Fougerousse who have stepped up to ensure seamless patient care at DCH.

The profound impact Dr. Lohano had on our community is evident in the many heartfelt messages and gestures of support we have received. His expertise, kindness, and leadership have left a lasting legacy, and we recognize the deep sense of loss felt by so many who had the privilege of knowing him.

We are committed to honoring Dr. Lohano's memory and his extraordinary contributions to patient care. In collaboration with his family, we are planning a celebration of life event to be held in Washington. This gathering will offer an opportunity for all those whose lives were touched by Dr. Lohano—both staff and patients—to come together in remembrance and gratitude.

The date of the celebration of life is set for Sunday, August 25, however other details of the event have not been finalized. Please mark your calendars now for the event and we will keep you updated so you can join us in paying tribute to Dr. Lohano’s remarkable life and career.
