Daviess Community Hospital Foundation Golf Benefit Raises $38,500

The 31st annual Daviess Community Hospital Foundation (DCHF) Golf Benefit, held on August 8 at Country Oaks Golf Course in Montgomery, was a tremendous success, raising $38,500 to support local healthcare initiatives and scholarships.

“We have been blessed again this year with many local and regional sponsors and individuals supporting our efforts,” said Angie Steiner, DCHF director. “The money raised will benefit students pursuing degrees in the medical field, as well as help support the renovations at the hospital.”

The event, presented by Home Building Savings Bank, drew 114 golfers who competed in a four-person scramble. The 1st place team was Hudson Office Solutions from Washington, followed by Team Wagler Farms from Loogootee in 2nd place, and Belt Tech Industrial from Washington in 3rd place.

The success of the event was made possible by the hard work and dedication of committee members, including Joel Montgomery and Julie Stephens of DCH, Alan Goodwin from Acrisure/Hoosier Insurance, Mindy Henrichsen of Old National Bank, David Stowers of German American Bank, and Pete Parsons of Parsons and Associates.
