Daviess Community Hospital Spreads Holiday Cheer at Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

Daviess Community Hospital hosted its highly anticipated Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Sunday, December 8, 2024, bringing together community members, staff, and local students for an evening filled with holiday cheer, music, and fellowship.
The celebration featured a heartfelt performance by the Washington High School Choir. Guests enjoyed complimentary hot chocolate, cookies, and a visit from Santa Claus.
April Settles, Chief Financial Officer of Daviess Community Hospital, addressed the crowd, emphasizing the hospital’s commitment to fostering community connections. “The Christmas season reminds us of the importance of gathering together, sharing joy, and reflecting on the blessings we’ve received throughout the year. We are honored to celebrate this special season with our community and grateful for the continued support you show to Daviess Community Hospital.”
Deron Steiner, President of the DCH Board of Governors, also spoke during the ceremony, reflecting on the hospital’s mission of service and compassion.
The highlight of the evening was the lighting of the hospital’s beautifully decorated Christmas tree, symbolizing hope, unity, and the holiday spirit.
