DCH Auxiliary holds Christmas Luncheon

The Daviess Community Hospital Auxiliary held its annual Christmas luncheon on Dec. 10 at the hospital, bringing together members and hospital staff for a festive celebration.
The room was decorated in holiday style, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Upon registration, attendees received ornaments featuring replicas of their volunteer pins embedded on the front. Before the meal, guests enjoyed a table filled with delicious finger foods.
Auxiliary President Pat Brochin opened the meeting, followed by Chaplain Bill Whitehead offering a prayer for the meal. Vice President Peg Neidigh led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Barbara Lengacher introduced the evening’s entertainment, which was provided by Joyce Hawkins and Eric Miller, who performed a selection of Christmas carols.
After brief business announcements, the meeting was adjourned. Ed Zipperle then led a lively Christmas trivia game, with several attendees winning prizes.
Continuing its tradition of community support, the Auxiliary collected canned goods, staple items, and monetary donations for Feed My Sheep.
The luncheon committee included Barbara Lengacher, Bonnie Harrison, Peg Neidigh, and Ed Zipperle.
Auxiliary members in attendance were Phyllis Alford, Betty Andis, Betty Bechtel, Ruth Collison, Nancy Elmore, Rossine Foddrill, Rick Grannan, Williams Harder, Sue Jones, Donna Keller, Judy Lamb, Pat McDonald, Linda Osmon, Jeannie Raber, Shirley Shelby, Berit Skaare, and Tom Wagner.
Hospital staff attending the event included April Settles, Angie Steiner, Jamie Petty, Heather Stone, and Jennifer Shaw.
