Daviess Community Hospital proudly welcomed two new police officers during a swearing-in ceremony held on December 9 in the hospital’s boardroom. CFO April Settles administered the oath of office to Jacob Gambill and Robert Smith, who have joined the DCH Police Department.
Jacob Gambill will serve as a part-time officer. He brings valuable experience from the Worthington Police Department in Greene County. Robert Smith joins the team full-time, bringing a strong background in law enforcement from the Sullivan County area.
The ceremony was attended by Chief Caleb Lankford, Officer Johnny Lagle, Executive Director of Growth and Development of Rehabilitation/Orthopedic Service Lines Dave Graber, and members of the DCH leadership team.
“We are honored to have Officers Gambill and Smith join our dedicated security team,” said April Settles. “Their experience and commitment to public safety will help us continue providing a secure environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.”
Please join us in extending a warm welcome and best wishes to Officers Gambill and Smith as they begin their service at DCH!
