Graber Promoted to Executive Director of Growth & Development of Rehabilitation/Orthopedic
Daviess Community Hospital (DCH) is pleased to announce the promotion of Dave Graber to the role of Executive Director of Growth and Development of Rehabilitation/Orthopedic Service Lines, effective November 11, 2024. Graber, who has served as Director of Rehabilitation Therapy since 2015, will take on expanded responsibilities in this new role, overseeing key areas such as outpatient therapies, orthopedic services, and the acute rehabilitation unit.
“Dave’s contributions to DCH over the years have been remarkable,” said Tracy Conroy, CEO of Daviess Community Hospital. “His dedication, leadership, and vision have greatly benefited our rehabilitation services, and I’m thrilled to see him step into this new role. Dave will not only strengthen our existing services but also develop new programs to better serve our patients, particularly those undergoing joint replacement surgeries. His work will enhance collaboration within the DCH network and build important relationships with referral sources to grow our acute rehab unit.”
As Executive Director, Graber will also have direct oversight of Facilities Management, the DCH Police Department, and the Pharmacy. One of his primary goals is to establish a comprehensive joint replacement program, providing patients with seamless care from preparation to recovery, all within the DCH network.
Graber brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having led a team of 35 employees as Director of Rehabilitation Therapy. In his time at DCH, he has been instrumental in overseeing inpatient therapy within the hospital main campus and outpatient therapy at CORE Center facilities in Washington and Odon. Prior to joining DCH, Graber worked as a Senior Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainer at Norris & Love Orthopaedics & Sports in Jasper, IN.
“I have been very fortunate to collaborate with outstanding therapists, front desk personnel, providers, and administration. I am excited for the opportunity to work across multiple service lines to optimize DCH services in our local and surrounding communities,” said Graber. “I look forward to enhancing the patient experience and expanding our rehabilitation and orthopedic offerings to better meet the needs of those we serve.”
Graber holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Physical Therapy degrees from the University of Evansville, where he graduated magna cum laude. He is also a certified athletic trainer through the National Athletic Training Association. A North Daviess High School valedictorian, Graber remains active in his community, serving as a partner at Redemption Christian Church and a member of the Montgomery Ruritan.
“Please join us in congratulating Dave Graber on his well-deserved promotion,” said Conroy. “His leadership will undoubtedly continue to have a positive impact on our hospital and the communities we serve.”
