Daviess Community Hospital (DCH) is pleased to announce its annual Community Health Fair, set for Friday, October 25, from 7 to 11 a.m. at the Simon Graber Complex, located at 9164 E. 875N in Odon, IN.

This year’s health fair will offer a wide range of services and activities designed to promote health and wellness in the community.

“Our goal is to provide accessible and affordable healthcare services to everyone in the community,” said Amy Wagner, DCH Physician Recruitment and Corporate Health. “The Community Health Fair is a great opportunity for people to take advantage of important health screenings and consultations, all in one convenient location.”

Attendees will have access to several essential health screenings at discounted rates, ensuring that all community members can participate. Some of the key screenings and tests available include:

  • Chem16 & Total Cholesterol Panel: For $44, participants can get a comprehensive metabolic panel that includes 16 essential tests to evaluate overall health, along with a cholesterol check. Fasting for 8 hours before the test is required.
  • Prostate Cancer Screening: Men aged 50 and older can get a PSA test for $7 to detect early signs of prostate cancer. Additional lab work may be necessary based on the results.
  • Flu Shots: Available for $25 (regular dose) and $70 (high dose). With flu season approaching, getting vaccinated is an important step to protect your health.
