Protect Your Heart: Limited Echocardiogram Testing at DCH on May 21

Protect Your Heart: Limited Echocardiogram Testing at DCH on May 21

If you have a family history of aneurysms or heart disease, now is the time to take a proactive step toward protecting your heart. On Wednesday, May 21, Daviess Community Hospital is offering Limited Echocardiogram Testing at the DCH Specialty Clinic (located on the second floor of the hospital).

This simple ultrasound test evaluates your aorta, heart valves, and overall heart function. It can help detect aortic aneurysms and other silent heart conditions that often go unnoticed until it’s too late.

“This is about being proactive with your heart health,” said Ethan Oates, MD, FACC, cardiologist at DCH. “We’ve seen an increase in cases of aortic aneurysms in our community, and many of those patients had no idea they were at risk. If heart issues run in your family, this test could be lifesaving.”
