As Chief Operating Officer, Graber will oversee the day-to-day operational functions of the hospital, ensuring high-quality patient care, financial stability, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. He will collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to develop and implement strategic initiatives that advance the hospital’s mission, vision and long-term goals.
“Dave’s ability to guide teams, develop innovative programs and foster strong relationships within our network makes him uniquely qualified to assume the COO role,” said April Settles, Chief Financial Officer at DCH. “We look forward to the impact his leadership will continue to have on our organization and the communities we serve.”
During his tenure at DCH, Graber has directed inpatient and outpatient therapy services, expanded rehabilitation and orthopedic offerings, and worked with a diverse range of clinical teams. He previously served as Director of Rehabilitation Therapy and led staff across multiple facilities. Under his guidance, DCH enhanced services for patients undergoing joint replacements and grew collaborations with medical providers and referral sources.
In his new position, Graber will focus on optimizing operational workflows, managing budgets in tandem with the Chief Financial Officer, leading risk management efforts and improving patient outcomes through adherence to best practices in healthcare delivery. He will also serve as a liaison between the board of directors, executive leadership, medical staff and community stakeholders.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to step into this role and build on our mission of providing exceptional care and service,” Graber said. “Together with our dedicated team, we will continue striving for operational excellence, innovative patient care and meaningful partnerships throughout our region.”
