Daviess Community Hospital is offering Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification and recertification courses in 2025. These American Heart Association (AHA)-certified classes provide healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and respond to pediatric emergencies, including respiratory failure, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest.

Class is $200. No cost for DCH employees.

2025 PALS Class Schedule:

New Healthcare Professionals (Two-Day Certification Course):

• January 13-14
• March 12-13
• May 14-15
• September 2-3
• November 12-13

Recertifying Healthcare Professionals (One-Day Course):

• January 14
• March 13
• May 15
• September 3
• November 13

Course Highlights:

• Hands-on training in pediatric emergency response
• AHA-compliant protocols for advanced resuscitation
• Certification or recertification available
