At Daviess Community Hospital, we understand that receiving infusion therapy can feel overwhelming. That’s why our team of dedicated and highly trained nurse clinicians is committed to providing you with exceptional, personalized care in a modern, comforting environment. Our Infusion Therapy services take place in the Same Day Surgery Unit, conveniently located on the first floor of the hospital.

We offer comprehensive infusion therapy and advanced practice services, including:

  • Antibiotic therapy
  • Biologic medications for inflammatory bowel diseases, chronic illnesses, and autoimmune diseases
  • Blood product administration
  • Bone marrow biopsies
  • Changing indwelling catheters
  • Hydration therapy
  • Iron infusions
  • Intravenous immunoglobulin therapy
  • IV medications for rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, and multiple sclerosis
  • Monoclonal antibody infusions (COVID infusions)
  • Paracentesis
  • Phlebotomy with fluid replacement
  • PICC and midline catheter maintenance and dressing changes
  • Port accessing, blood draws, and routine flushes
  • Subcutaneous and intramuscular injections
