Daviess Community Hospital is committed to reducing high infant mortality rates by providing comprehensive care and support for expectant mothers, infants, and families. Through our Perinatal Pathways program, we offer confidential screenings, expert guidance, referrals, treatment, and education. Our goal is to ensure every family has the resources they need for a healthy pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience.
Our Perinatal Pathways team is led by Desireé Lewis, BSN, RN, CHC, a nurse with more than 15 years of maternal health experience. As our dedicated Perinatal Navigator, Desireé specializes in supporting women with medical conditions during pregnancy and the postpartum period. She also assists patients who face barriers to accessing healthcare—particularly those without insurance coverage—in receiving prenatal and child well visits.
